My mission is to cultivate a brighter and resilient future for children and families by providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services. I am dedicated to fostering the emotional well-being of children and supporting their caregivers and parents in navigating the complexities of mental health.

Sarah Coan

is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern who specializes in working with children ages 0-12 and their families.  Sarah is also a mother of three neurodiverse children. She has spent the last 10 years working with young children, their families, and teachers as an early intervention teacher, behavior coach, education supervisor, clinical behavior management skills specialist, and classroom behavior management trainer in Southern Utah. She is passionate about infant and early childhood mental health. Sarah believes that healthy parent-child relationships are the key to ending the cycle of intergenerational adverse childhood experiences. Sarah holds an AA in Child Development, a BS in Behavior Science and Business Management from Utah Tech University, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She is in the process of training in or is certified in TF-CBT, Sand tray therapy, Play Therapy, Expressive arts, Internal Family Systems, Positive Behavior Support Systems, Applied Behavior Analysis, and the Pyramid Model Social-Emotional Positive Solutions for Teachers and Families.
